UCEAR is a cooperative organization, created in 1952.

It is the largest cattle-breeding organization in the South-East of France.

Genetics and selection programmes for :

o        2 hardy mountain breeds : “Abondance” and “Tarentaise”,

o        1 meat breed, “Excellence Charolais” intended for industrial crossing

Perfectly tailored resources

·         Highly specialized teams,

·         The largest bull-stud in France to produce semen doses,

·         A semen production laboratory to produce frozen bull semen,

·         A laboratory to store the semen.

EXPORT ACTIVITIES :

UCEAR and its products are present over the world, directly or in partnership with the national breeding organizations.

UCEAR is well-know not only for providing semen of these breeds,
but also for technical assistance and personalized cooperation programs.
