3rd Workshop of the Cattle Network

The third Cattle Network Workshop was held in Dublin, Ireland, on 24 August 2007, in the context of the 58th Annual Meeting of the EAAP.

 The Workshop focused on the application of CAP regulations by beef producers in the EU. The Beef Task Force of the Cattle Network presented an analytical report on the implementation of the CAP reform by the various beef production systems in the EU countries. The Workshop had a highly participatory character, involving all attendants in work groups that discussed the most important topics under examination. 

The Workshop lasted one day (Friday 24 August), while on Saturday 25th there was an optional visit to a typical Irish beef farm in order to discuss with farmers about the application of the CAP.
