CATTLE BREEDERS’ ASSOCIATION OF TURKEY (CBAT) 

CBAT is the national association of provincial cattle breeding associations to carry out genetic improvement practices. Selecting and applying the breeding program for the registered Holstein population, keeping the national herdbook databases and establishment and development of their nationwide IT program, issuing of the pedigrees and certificates, communication with and between the member associations, the implementation of the nationwide Holstein progeny testing, marketing of the necessary equipment including top quality semen, vocational trainings for the staff of 65 member associations, national and international representation, and publication are the main activities being carried out since 1998.
